Little Shemogue Adds QuickTime VR Photography
January 3rd, 2003
When Klaus & Petra Sudbrack launched their web site with Tantramar Interactive in 1998, they chose to include QuickTime VR panoramas. Their customers responded so positively to these 360-degree photographs that they've continued to add more — this time a cubic QuickTime VR image that shows the entire room -- from floor to ceiling.
Tantramar Interactive's staff has been involved with QuickTime VR since 1995, and welcomed the addition of full spherical (or cubic) imaging that was introduced in QuickTime 5.
Although cubic virtual reality photography presents unique challenges, especially when compared to the more "traditional" cylindrical VR images, we think the results are well worth the extra effort.
